From Wicked Garden:Born to Bloom

There’s
Nothing wrong with change
Nothing wrong with growth
Nothing wrong with space
Between what you love the most
People talk, say what they want
I know where I’m from and where I belong
Let’s look at who’s still here and who is gone
Not like I owe it to anyone
The life I live is mine alone

So much pressure in the lives we lead
And while I’m just one person
If you asked me
I couldn’t tell you the difference between
Dying to score another hit
Or dying with your life of dull routine
Everyone is so extreme
There’s no balance or in between
That ain’t me

They say, “Be yourself, but no, not like that,
Be more like someone else”
I’m not saying we all get along
Just pointing out the obvious
Everybody has somebody that they’ve wronged
But who’s guilty and who gets a pass
Is left up to who gets put on a blast
Now everybody is on eggshells made of glass

So much pressure in the lives we lead
While I’m just one person if you asked me
I couldn't tell you the difference between
Dying to score another hit
Or dying to live a life stuck on repeat
Everyone is so extreme
No one’s thinking before they speak
That ain’t me
