I made a GREAT videotape of the 1st show as "THE" Enkindels... that's right, the one that was in HMV in St. Matthews mall. I stood right in front of Matt Brown the whole time, occassionally getting shots of the crowd and getting tons of cheesy Brickey shots. At the end of the tape, I turned the camera around onto the full crowd... and it's an amazing sight as you see around 800 people crammed inside HMV and overflowing into the farthest visible reaches of the mall. What a great show.
Another show I remember was the Toys For Tots show that they guys played.. I'm not sure if it was the one that winter or the next winter, but there were so many people crammed inside Spark's that the heat and perspiration, in addition to the freezing air coming in the side door by the stage, was making visible clouds around the ceiling... it wasn't just kinda steamy.. it was so thick it looked like rain clouds... I swear it probably was raining our own sweat down on us. Another great night.
there was a show that The Enkindels played under a different name... it was their 1st show together, and there was practically no one there... anyone remember that name? - Bryan Volz

"A bit misunderstood in Louisville. A tongue in cheek Rock-N-Roll attitude that was lost on most local folks." No, most of us got the joke, we just didn't think it was funny. - Jamie Miller
