Moved to Louisville from Memphis TN,involved in various activist avenues such as the Tennessee Coalition to End State Killing, Food Not Bombs Memphis, The Humanitarian Action Collective and grass roots animal rights and vegan projects, as well as direct action in Memphis. Austin played in bands such as Memphis' The Peoples War on Coalition Records, a crusty vegan, straight edge, anarchist hardcore band, and samsa,melodic hardcore ,as well as Our Funeral, a grind band.(Austin is no longer straight edge)
While Austin lived in Louisville, he played in Desultory(crust punk band), Anagnorisis(black/death on shiven records), Panopticon(anarcho-pagan black metal), and Plainwords (political crust). Austin made his living working with inner city youth and the mentally ill in residential treatment facilities. On the side he owns a small record label (Lunn Records/Lundr Records), does silk screening work, brews beer and works in the garden.
