Cannons was started by Micah and Alex in late 2005. Looking to play hardcore with a rock and roll slant, they recruited Matt after he left Panda, and grabbed Bryan once his school schedule lightened up. The first practice ended up on Dec. 17th, 05 at Matt's house in Salem, IN which proved to be a little too far for everyone, but yielded a (mostly) completed song and recording. Things kept moving from there with the band relocating to The Warehouse for practice, recent Seattle transplant Eagle joining on guitar, and Micah quitting and being replaced by Danny.
The band soon relocated to Danny's basement which sounded 110 times better than the 'house. There was one show the band jumped on a couple of days before hand. The band decided to part ways on March 6th, 2006.
