Derek is from Indiana. After graduating from IUS he went to Vancouver Film School and studied sound design. Derek now lives in Philadelphia where he is a producer and engineer for Diplo & Mad Decent Records. He is also responsible for all production for the 812 Dirty Squad. For more info see
