Louisville Music News is a publication that has been active since 1989, covering shows in the area along with hosting a monthly calendar of what is coming. Though in the 1990s LMN was leery of sharing local music outside of the rock and blues scene. By the late 90s and early 2000s LMN would warm up to sharing a wider range of locals in the punk and metal scenes.
Along with reviews and a monthly interview with a band or musician would be various musical reports on the respective scenes in the Louisville area. The less said about Eddy Metal, the better.
