From Louisville Punk/Hardcore History

"Somewhere in 1979 I started playing in my first band called Malignant Growth with my brother on bass and Brett Ralph on vocals. With moderate success, we were called upon to open up for national acts such as Black Flag, Minor Threat, Circle Jerks, and various other bands. After a few years and a few member changes, we put out a demo and decided to change the name of the band to Fading Out as our bid for commercialism. This lasted somewhere up until the mid-eighties and then came to an end. After a few years of nothingness came the year 1988 where as Sean Garrison approached me about jamming with Mike Bucayu and from there began the band which became known as Kinghorse. After a recording contract, a few tours, and a bunch of notorious shows the band imploded on itself and split up. Then came the idea to release a cd of all the demos that we had recorded which spawned the idea to reform the band. And this is where Jerry Cunningham enters into the picture on bass. Long story short, a few more notable shows, several more recordings, and the band fades away. Now we move on to the present, and after a much needed break from music, Jerry once again enters into the picture and prompts me into doing what has carried me thru years of good times and bad, to play rock and roll.
