Kodan was probably the worst band in Louisville for the first year of their existence. Playing at the Brycc House frequently, we all got to hear them often. then, after a little break, some lineup changes, a re-prioritization, and Corey returning to town, they set off on a new path where they got to be not only quite accomplished, but quite well respected, suprising all who beheld their early shows. They ended up being one of the larger, more intense bands that the city had seen in years. They broke up right at the height of their popularity not long after the Maximum Louisville tour of Summer '04. - Bryan Volz.
