The Skull of Glee, which existed in various forms for a year or so, played three cover songs, each song once. They were: Link Wray's "Rumble" and Mr. Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" (both at the band's last formal performance, Thanksgiving 1982 at The Beat with The Gun Club) and this one, a rendition of The Endtable's "Trick Or Treat". Rumble was not a ridiculous idea, Johnny was knowingly ridiculous (Mr. O'Bannon just wanted to play the guitar parts once before jumping off of a roof), and you can judge this Halloween anthem for yourself. | |||
