Big City

Original home of Steve Thornton when he was still partnered up with the The Mercury Paw It stood above the Big City Styles barber shop from which it took its name, and across 1st street from the market street whitecastle. Steve turned it over to Andrew Porter and Jeff Menne who then turned it over to Ben Herning and later Tony Bailey . The upper apartment belonged to Todd Dunn and Tony Downs. Over the years numerous bands practiced here. My recollection is of Starman Jones and Verktum in early form. Maybe you remember more? Also sight of several good shows and parties. Feel free to overcome my lack of memory detail.
