Churels started as a two-piece hardcore band in summer 2006. After [[Camps]] slowly dissolved, Jake (drums) and Danny (guitar) decided to continue their quest to thrash, while trying to experiment more and challenge themselves musically.Upon moving to Louisville they added their roommate/somerset transplant Micah as second guitarist. 6 or 7 10 minute sets in 2 months, then broke up.
