The Glasspack is an amazing ROCK 'N ROLL band that was formed in early 1999 by frontman and songwriter "Dirty" Dave Johnson in the good ol' bluegrass city of Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Joined by Jerry Cunningham (Kinghorse, Arch) on bass & Brett Holsclaw (Spot, King Kong, Joe Manning) on drums, the Glasspack is best known for their intense live performances. They have been seen busting guitars on each other, playing guitar behind their backs, with their teeth, and anyway humanly possible. Johnson has even been known to set his crotch on fire, as well as his guitar. In 2005, Dirty & the band struck a deal with Fender Music, receiving sponsorship for equipment, due to their obvious Fender sound. Influenced by the sounds and screams of such as The Stooges, MC5, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Monster Magnet, The Melvins, and Mudhoney, the Glasspack is a very live, guitar-oriented rock'n'roll band. In 7 years, they have managed to tour over 70,000 miles of U.S. and Canadian highway and they ain't about to stop. Europe and Austrailia are the next stops on the Glasspack's map.

They have been seen busting guitars on each other, playing guitar behind their backs, with their teeth, and anyway humanly possible. Johnson has even been known to set his crotch on fire, as well as his guitar, which skills gained him a Fender Music endorsement in 2005.
