This year, there were two hardcore/punk Halloween shows that had free CDs, so they are both in this entry.

October 30th, 2004
This show was held at Keswick Democratic Club, and featured the following, with their songs on the cd:

The show started around 6pm, and culminated with the spectacle that was Stanzig, performing Danzig songs, as well as 3-4 Misfits songs (although not any of the same that Ganthet covered the next night). There were a fair amount of kids there, and everyone had a pretty good time, even the straight edge kids that got doused with Sparks.

Halloween 2004: Lords/Nixon/Canopic/Ganthet show
comp. cover
Record Label: put out by Matt Haas w/ help from Bryan Volz
Recorded By: Bryan Volz - Ganthet. Chris Owens - Lords. Ryan Patterson - Nixon.
Released: Sunday, October 31st, 2004
Out of Print: yes
Formats: around 50 pressed on CDR. Ask nicely and someone will make you a copy though.

this show was held at the Swiss Hall, and enjoyed such things as Jared (of Ganthet) showing up 45 minutes or so late (they were supposed to open the show), Dylan breaking his hand so Big Jim had to play in Ganthet for him, the power going off during Lords, Bryan forgetting his half of the CDs at his house and having to leave during Canopic to get them, botched Black Flag songs, good times, and Lords playing an awkward version of "VKHC" by Black Cross with Ryan P. right in front. Oh yeah, and Matt Haas (Nixon) covered with blood and looking FUCKING SCARY.

CD:

Notes: Canopic, the second band to play the show, did not have a song on the CD because while they had stuff recorded, they simply didn't like it enough to be released. Party poopers. Also, on the CDs that Bryan burned, he printed the Louisville HxC logo on the front of the CD and put anywhere from 1 extra song to 30 extra songs, most of which had nothing to do with punk/hardcore or ... anytihng. Some had prank calls using an Arnold Schwartzenegger sound board, some had "Eating Is Fun, Eating Is Serious" by Chris "Corky" Burke, some had movements by Bach or Mozart, some had the originals of everything Ganthet covered at the show, some had old Louisville songs, one had half an episode of Sell Out Louisville Style, some had the Mortal Kombat themesong.... lots of really odd shit. ALSO, there was NO packaging for this, as Bryan ran out of time to make them (or lengthy liner notes/inserts.. which I guess I'm making up for by writing all of this rubbish, eh?), and thought Tony Ash was making covers, but Tony decided hours before the show not to do them, so nothing happened.
