The Machine was a venue located in St. Matthews (4121 Shelbyville Road to be exact) in the east end of Louisville during the early/mid 90s. The venue was crafted out of the remains of a Photon facility, and was quite large (10,000 sq. feet). It had formerly been known as the Enterprise, [[CD Graffiti's]], and the Maze. Weekly shows brought in kids from all over the area, and the parking lot was frequently teeming with kids, much to local residents dismay (St. Matthews has a bunch of stuck up older folks). When the venue closed, St. Matthews enacted strict ordinances to ban that kind of place popping up ever again.
