Jared Manning
Jared Manning (born , in , ) is the middle child of Kerry L Manning and Denise Manning (Borders). He has an older brother and younger sister Megan Manning. At the age of 5 or was it 6 he attended Kindergarten at where he met long time friend . For the next eight years of his life (two years behind his brother and 5 ahead of his sister) kid carrier he and Josh attended . Jared started playing baseball in the fourth grade where he earned the nickname Bigfoot. Always much larger than his peers the name stuck during the city championship game when he earned the winning run by getting hit by the pitch..... in the foot. From 5th to 8th grade he played football, basketball, and baseball never a starter. Never too popular either, Jared and Josh became BFF. In 1994 Jared educationally parted ways with his long time friend and attended , with a sports scholarship provided by his grade school. There he met many new friends and along with his brother, Kyle, joined the first year of DeSales' wrestling team. It was around this time that he attended his first show. Most likely a SNOiT show put on by the Shakin' Sheila (later Noise Pollution) at the Incarnation Church gym.
Jared and Josh also met fellow neighborhood kids Jeff Hood, Allen Clark and Erick Brown. Many garage/nirvana cover bands started and never leaving either Jeff's parent's garage or Erick's parent's basement. Jared was never in any of these bands. His first attempt at being in one of thier bands was playing bass with the group, Truce. Before playing out any shows, Jared was kicked out due to lack of motivation and replaced by then second vocalist, Doug Edleman. In 1997 Jared, with the help of good friend and schoolmate Adam Zoeller, got a job at the Dixie Dozen Theatres. he quit on May 19th 1999 the day Star Wars Ep.I came out... after telling his boss he wouldn't be coming back in to work he immediatly asked for a rid home. He still (as of 2006) gets to see movies for free usually with up to two more people. Jared graduated high school in 1998.
Out of the ashes of Truce came Forthright placeing Jared at bass again along with Jeff, Josh, and future 7th day adventistGary Asher. It was at this time in his life that Jared met Ella Lumpkins. Forthright disolved in either 1999 or 2000. Jared started volunteering time at The Brycc House. In 2001 Jared and Ella started dating and soon moved out living with Brycc house director Jamie Miller. Jared started helping out more and more at the Brycc house and could often times be seen working the door being a condescening jerk. He met many people during this time... many that would be his most true and trusted friends. During this time he met a group of teens Dylan Smither, Cameron Smither and Josh Raff, and became friends with them in a way only a 22 year old man and 3 teenage boys can (not like that you perv). In 2003 he Joined these three guys to form Ganthet. Jared entered the bachelors life again in 2004. At this time he became good friends with CPC and spent a long time rebuilding bridges long ago burnt. After a year long stint of living with his grandmother, Anne Borders. He moved in with good friend, Kurt Ehnle. In late/mid 2006 Ganthet broke up due to Josh Raff growing up and leaving for college. In 2008 Jared moved into the old "Beer and Fishsticks Night" house on morton ave with friend Nick O'Brien. He has a mix dog (black lab/great dane) named brick. In august of 2007 Jared started dating then-current now-ex-roller derby girl Killy Idol.
Now Jared works full time getting callus' on his hands and dirt under his nails. Comic books have been a huge part of jared's life.
Jared was Straight Edge from 1996 until 2008.
Jared is an athiest.
